As I was expecting in the last post, due to the Coronavirus, the stock market plumbed even more, and I made a significant investment there. I’m glad that the previous two months, I made zero investments like I was waiting for this opportunity. I’m curious if there will be yet another drop in the stock market as the Corona crisis is still not in the end. I still have a few Euros for investment. Unfortunately, my homeland currency Czech Coruna (no corona :)) went from 1Euro = 25CZK to 1Euro to 27CZK; therefore, just by the wave of wind, everything gets almost 10% expensive for me in Euro. That’s not much positive.
I’m investing in the ‘defensive’ stocks, like telecommunications, food, and pharmacy. I also bought a small part of ETF focusing on the aviation industry as I count that they will get support from the government and not fall.
Crowdlending
I’m quitting the Mintos euro account, not that I’m afraid of the platform to fall, but I always found shares to be more valuable and persistent than P2P, and now is a great time to move my money from P2P into stocks. After the crisis go away, and shares become more expensive than they are now, and if Mintos will be still here, I will be more than happy to come back.
Crowdestor decided to hold all payments from the lenders for 3 months to help them financially; therefore, there will be no income from this platform for some time. I would leave it either, but there is no option; consequently, I have to wait till the loans are finished, and then I can withdraw my money.
Anyway, I strongly recommend you read a bit blog of Kristaps Mors, especially this article, that gives a new and critical point of view on the P2P platform and bloggers about financial freedom. I think in many aspects, he is correct.

What will I do next?
I have put a significant amount of money into stocks. Next, I will wait and watch what is happening with connection to the Corona. The stock market may fall yet another time, perhaps during winter. I may buy slowly more.
